i have a TON of dogs in my house right now...4 adult dogs are mine 3 adult dogs are fosters w/ the SPCA and one of my fosters just had a litter of 8 pups last night!! comedy GALORE here.
but the funniest thing was what my rescued mini dachshund Dodger did. we live on about 4 acres, its all fenced so the dogs don't run off, and we have a huge wood pile in back of the barn. usually Dodger pokes his little head around the wood pile, barks and then walks off. well one day SOMETHING must have gotten underneath that wood pile because his little sniff and bark wasn't enough for him. his tail went straight in the air and he pulled his ears back, he looked up at me like he was saying, "Sorry mom, but im GOING IN!" and there he went! i know that dachshunds are earth dogs...and the LOVE to chase and kill vermin...BUT i live in West Texas, and a wood pile in the middle of June is a perfect place for rattlesnakes and copperhead snakes to hide during the hot day. i was freaking out!
my husband and i started digging through the pile trying like crazy to get to him. all we heard was a muffled bark.
and hour later, he was still at it, then we heard rustling and growling...followed by viscous barking and a sound that can only be understood by someone that knows what it sounds like when your dog grabs something else..and that something else is ALIVE.
my heart was in my throat for about 20 mins as this struggle went on. and then...out pops Dodger, with a dead jackrabbit dragging behind him!! now if anyone knows a mini dachshund is about 5 to 10 pounds...while a jackrabbit can top out at 25lbs! i must say i was impressed, and my husband was laughing so hard i thought he would pee himself!
i didn't find it amusing until Dodger brought the nasty dead thing to me, dropped it at my feet and with a PROUD little hop in his step he bounced off around the barn again!
i thought GREAT even my dogs think MOM will clean up everything! ha ha.

ok my beagle fell in the pool once and she can't swim (we found that out) so she just sunk to the bottum my dad had to swim under and swim the dog back up. She jumped in (she's not very bright) agian a few days later. and once agian sunk she walked on the botttom of the pool all the way back to the stairs and climbed out.
My yorkie: (incase you dont know are only about 8-9 inchs tall) was a puppy and was out side with my brother and his friends. They were making fun of my brother cause they said the dog cant play fetch or play dead. (well they were proved rong about playing dead) my brother picked up a squoose ball and threw it across the yard and the dog went very quickly and got the ball and brought it back. Then they used a woofle ball and the dog fetched it agian. The friends decided that those didnt count it had to be a real ball, as my parents walked in the back yard they hered a yelped, gasps, then silence. They had him use a softball and it smacked they 7inch dog (cause it was a lil' puppy) down cold. The dog is still alive after 6 more freak accidents. LOL the poor dog.
Oh, ond a love ur pic it is realy hot. Its from the movie rite. were there in the arabian in a horse race and he beats people up alot for making fun of his horse.LOL

My daughter has a Boston Terrier named Austin, He was a recent addition to our home already housing 8 other dogs (1 female Rottweiler and 7male German Shepherds). Austin has taken a liking to the Rott (about 10x his size) and would follow her around all the time. I think he fancies himself as her boyfriend cos he would chase the other dogs away if they get anywhere near her. It's amusing to see a 10lb bug eyed lap dog chasing 90-100lb Schutzhund/protection trained GSDs. They seem to be more confused than annnoyed or angry at him. He would sit by her when she is sleeping, sometimes falling asleep himself. He won't eat until she finishes cos he is always guarding her. When she came into heat, she was separated from the rest except him. He was the only male dog allowed to be near her cos we knew it was just not going to happen. But that did not stop the poor guy from trying anyway. I think Roobi the Rott likes him too cos now they literally sleep together and spend a lot of time playing with and grooming each other.

Well i giggle about it now,but at the time i did not find this funny.
We had just got a 8 week old staffordshire bull terrier,my god she was absolutely barmy.Anyway one particular day my partner had just came home from work and for some reason he wanted to go to the local shops.Anyway he took his wage packet out his coat and put it on the computer desk.
Ten minutes later we come home to find £460 all in £20 notes teared up in hundreds of little pieces......ARRGGHHHH
but the most annoying thing was that she didn't eat the money she only ripped it up and decided to eat the paper wage packet it came in!!!!!
I could of cried,i did try to sellotape what i could back together, but we sure learnt our lesson not too leave anything lying about.LOL

We have two dogs and together they are a hoot.
My favorite thing to watch is our youngest 4 play with our cat 10 months old. The cat is fiesty herself but when they get going together its great. The dog will be laying there and the cat will run up and attack him and them run off (like you cant catch me) so the dog gets up and chases after the cat. Well the cat is hiding around a corner and the dog stops dead in his tracks and starts running the other way. The cat will come attack him again and he will go after her. They do this all through the house up and down stairs. It is the funniest thing ever and neither of them use claws or teeth.
Their favorite time to play is between 2-5am. You can hear them chading each other throught the house and we just roll over and go back to sleep. I love it.

My Yorkshire terrier called Kevin had a gum disease
so all his teeth feel out
( He was trying to be young when he was 9 years old)
At the same time we had rescued a kitten and called him Pilchard. When a couple of days past, Pilchard wanted to play with Kevin by jumping on his back. In retaliation, Kevin rolled on the cat and pined him to the floor. Kevin tried to bite Pilchard's neck but he didn't have teeth so all he gave Pilchard was a wet neck and properly a fit of stitches.

My dog is a wolf husky mix and has quite a personality. He loves other animals and people.I have a ferret ,and the two of them love to play together. The ferret likes to run after him and climb on his leg.He started gently picking her up by her tail and carrying her around like that.It is the funniest thing to see.People come to my house and laugh at them all the time.My ferret loves it,she backs her butt up to him and waits for him to grab hold sometimes....He also like to watch TV.When animals are on(especially wolves) he runs up to the TV wagging his tail and barking. When they run across the screen ,he goes behind the TV to see where they went....OK,one more ....I have light carpet so i always wipe off his paws when he comes in after rain .Well,he never liked it to much so he decided he would wipe his own feet on the mat by the door.He wipes his feet every time now before coming in(but only the front two).I never know what new thing my boy might do next,he is so smart and gentle ,and has such personality,i could tell stories about him all day....GREAT QUESTION!!!!

I was sitting on the couch eating dinner, and my 1 month old puppy was asleep next to me. the puppy had never had table scraps before. with out warning, the puppy awoke and immediatly tried to grab food off my plate. so I held him back as his mouth was opening and closing, the skin pulled back from his teeth as he strained to reach a peice of brocolli.
another time, before he learned to leave people alone when eating, I was (again) sitting on the couch eating a plate of spaggitti. The dog came running down the stairs as fast as he could, and ran and landed in my plate of food, splattering spaggiti everywhere.

my dog is a border collie - supposedly the smartest breed of dog. he plays practical jokes and then he cracks up laughing.
he has two favourites.
he walks into a room, all casual like, and then sits down and then looks up at a spot on the ceiling. he'll turn away, then look at the spot again. then look away. then he'll start staring at the spot. we all turn to see what the hell he's staring at - and he leaps up and cracks up laughing! he has this huge big grin and his head bobs up and down.
his other favourite practical joke is the fake limp. if there are alot of people in the house but no-one is paying attention to him - a rarity - he starts limping. this triggers cries of "awww, what's wrong with Gus?!" he pathetically limps over to someone - usually mum - and once he gets a hug and a pat he runs off laughing.
he'll also pull this fake limp if he sees my mum get her suitcase out of the cupboard.
and sometimes he forgets which leg he was limping with and swaps them over within minutes!
but it always ends with Gus cracking up laughing.

When my dog was one, we had a pool in the backyard and we had put a solar cover on the pool and she would walk on the solar cover and start pooping on it and she looked like she was as light as a feather and never fell in or made the solar cover go down then one day she put her paw on it and the water started gushing up and she almost fell in! and then she wouldnt walk on it again.
My dogs loved water, we started lookin out the window and noticed that the younger one was swimming in the pool, then we went out there and went swimming and she refused to go near the water, and the other dog who wont go in the water with the younger one went in with us and ripped on of my bathing suits.

My dog kept tipping over his ceramic dog dish and breaking it. I finally got him a set of no-tipping stainless steel dishes. I gave him a scoop of dog food in his food dish, then went inside briefly to get a cup of cold water for his water dish. When I got back outside, like a minute later, the food dish was gone! I finally found where he had tipped his food right by the garage back door, where there was a step down. The food dish was upside-down in the middle of the yard!
Oh, can I do two stories? My neighbor's dog talks!!! I used to have rabbits. Every time I took them in the yard, the dog next door would say "RAAAAABIIIIIT". When I grill, she says "HAMHAMHAMBURGER" or "RIIIIIIBS" (she seems to know what I'm cooking!) One day I saw her sitting outside their back door saying "HELLOOOOOOO"
