Benecol yogurt drinks, and other Benecol Products are a help, but best to ask your Doctor for a diet sheet, certain food groups are best left alone, so get a diet sheet and have a go with the Benecol daily, my husband has had a stroke recently and he has it daily as trecommended in the NHS Cholesterol guide available at the doctors.

A general detox will go a long way to help... increase your intake of chillies, they have a particularly good reputation for helping the system eliminate cholesterol... the more fresh fruits and vegetables you eat, the quicker you will see results.

Obviously you will need to cut down on foods that increase the cholesterol count as well...

I've heard Quaker Oatmeal reduces it over time. I'd consult a doctor for facts about it. They'll know what is best for you.

you can only eat things w/ 0 cholestoryl and then over time, it will go down. things like cheerios and oat meal will help and also, dont eat any animal products like milk, ice cream, and, of course, meat.

ive just had a high cholesterol result and i went to holland & barret and got some Lecithin capsules £2.99 for 100.They lower your cholesterol.My dads came right down on them too.

Yes, u can have a glass of red wine with dinner, and take garlic pills, or if you like garlic, use it in your meals.
