You don't get varicose veins by scratching your legs, as for skin blemishes, just don't scratch so much, rub your itch, but don't use your nails.

To prevent varicose veins, Hirudoid cream can help.Try not scratching your legs (if its itchy you can use antipruritic creams).Also, just tap the area instead of using your nails. Hope this helps.:)
