My favorite is a simple vodka martini using Grey Goose and just a drop of vermouth. Extra olives, of course.

Heres how I make my appletini:
Put 1 1/2 shot of Grey goose (best out of the freezer)
1 shot of Sour Apple Pucker
splash of Sweet and sour
into a shaker half full of ice. Shake and pour into martini glass
then take about a capfull of grenadine and pour cautiously. If done right the green beverage will sit on top of the red grenadine and you will have an attractive tasty beverage with a sweet surprise at the end.

If you're throwing a martini party, you should have a few different options. No one likes the same kind...
Everyone drinks vodka martinis these days
you're going to need...
GOOD Vodka (Ketel One, Grey Goose, or better)
dry vermouth(for regular martini)
triple sec(for cosmopolitans and appletinis)
Apple pucker(For appletinis)
and olives (Regular martini)
limes and cranberry juice (Cosmopolitan)
That will give you three good options. If you want chocolate martinis, only use godiva liqueur.
Get a good shaker. Have fun experimenting to find the right amounts of each ingredient to fit your taste.
Enjoy.

Out in the Milky Way martini
Ingredients
6 ounces of freezing Absolut Vanil vodka
1 Milky Way candy bar sliced into smallish pieces
1 tablespoon of sweet chocolate shavings
2 slightly chilled Martini glasses.
A well chilled, stylish martini shaker.
The mix
Put the sliced candy bar into your microwave oven and heat until it melts.
Pour the vodka into your cocktail shaker, which is half full of cracked ice.
Shake, shake, shake. A good dozen vigorous shakes should do the trick.
Let your shaker rest while you prep your glasses.
Spoon 1 teaspoon of the gooey candy bar into the bottom of each glass.
Strain the vodka equally (make mine a bit heavier--of course).
Top each glass with some chocolate shavings.
Spin the cool tiki beats of King Kukulele & the Friki Tikis...sip and enjoy!

I commence hitting after my 2d Martini. 3 is my reduce. 4 makes my outfits fall off and some thing above 6 makes me fall over with a trusty bucket next to me for roughly 5 hours. And that about sums up my week.
