call a vet. see if there is one that does emergency sevices. some do and some don't. tell them what's going on, and see what they say. if you have a heatingpad of somekind, put a towel on the pad and lay the kitten on it. he needs to get his temp up and doing this can most likely last until the vet opens if you don't find one for emergencies. keep a close eye on him....when you get in touch with a vet, you will need to tell them everything that he has been doing, not nursing, shivering, breathing heavily, if there is any changes...the vet will need to know what has been going on and how long it's been that way. good luck.

sometimes animals shiver when they of course are cold..but also
when they are nervous..chihuahuas are especially bad about it..
but you might call the vet to find out first before you spend alot of money at the vets..

You never take a 5 day old from it's mother. They must be at least 6 wks old! Take it back to it's mom.

Is it a cat or what?
My guess is that it's cold or sick or something.
Or scared, possibly.
When my cat was little he sometimes got scared and shook, but don't take my word on that - because my cat's a bit on the unique side...lol

Get a crate, box, kitty bed, whatever....put it in a nice quiet place that mommy and babies won't be disturbed and get mommy in there with her babies. Try putting a nice warm baby blanket in the box so that they are comfortable.

Call your pediatrician or vet what ever the case may be.

Bring him or her to the vet I think that would help!

he/she is probably cold. try to find a way to keep it out of the way of a draft and maybe cover it with a small blanket. usually the mother will usually stay with it to keep her pups warm. i am sure your puppy is fine. just try to keep it warm.
