Atheists don't believe in any kind of supernatural divine being. They view Satan as being every bit as mythological and nonexistent as God.

(This response assumes a Christian view of what's "Satanic"; those who call themselves Satanists often have a very different concept of Satan.)

Atheists don't believe in Satan, so I'm pretty sure they don't pray to him or believe in him.

In order to be truly Satanic you must first be Christian, since Christians are the only ones who regard Satan as an actual being. Athiests do not regard Satan as even existing, and therefore, cannot be called Satanists. Members of the Church of Satan can be called Satanic in that they conscioulsy embrace a philosophical discipline that names Satan as its source of relevance, but even then their concept of Satan differs from the standard Christian concept; thus they are Satanic, but not necessarily in the way that Christians may say.

In order to be a true satanist, one must be a Christian, since Christians are the only ones who actually believe in Satan. Anyone else called "Satanic" especially in the Christian manner, is probably just a victim of religion-based slander.

I'm not an atheist. I believe in what's good and logical in any religion. I try to incoroporate what I've learned. And what I can't gets discarded. Satanism is actually a religion that may seem cold and has alot of rumors and copycats but for the most part makes sense. Reading a list of their beliefs sounds alot like common sense logic to me. Although, as I said, it comes off a little cold and I believe in the golden rule.
I like atheists, but I think besides the brain washing to believe you're satanic, Christians might see you as being cold. Might want to remind them you have similar ethics even though your reasoning is different.
PS When I first read your question you had a couple responses from people who didn't seem to read the question. When I posted my answer I read them all and couldn't believe how many people have reading comprehension problems. By putting your statement into a question they assumed a question and tried to answer it. Gotta love 'em (Jesus says so lol). Might try actually asking a question next time. Or answer mine. Sometimes I feel like a nut....

Maybe some satanic is atheist or an atheist is a clandestine satanic but thats not a correlation. Atheist means : a(without) Theos (god), in theory they wouldnt believe in what satanics believe that is evil.

Some atheists do believe in the power of the person, and sometimes they accept some supernatural explanations but not always are based on religion, I believe atheists have spirit and God loves them too.

Satanics if you go to their websites they want good things too, their goals are okay make sense but in the practice this is not always the reality, for instance sacrifices -that we do too in Christianity-, some satanics depending on their circle or level will draw a star and go to clandestine rituals , why are they clandestine because some of them know is inmoral even if is legal to practice a religion.

In Christianity there are 2 extremes good (God), evil (Satan, Lucifer) and none of them could be another, God cant be bad and Satan cant be good. In my personal opinion this is to make those two absolute beings, God is perfect Satan is not from that perspective since Satan was born from God or good and also cant repent with time.

Can God repent? why if He is perfect, absolute?

So for some people Satan is their god is their most powerful entity is the antagonist of God, the one who fights but not always the one who destroys, Satan can create too sin and create disorder or chaos.

What an ignorant comment To be satanic, the existence of satan must be acknowledged. Since atheists do not believe in either a god or a satan, that acknowledgment is missing.

Atheists cannot be Satanic because their concerns and questions surrounding the existence or non existence of God also apply to that of Satan. If they're called "satanist" it's only because of the tendency any dominant religion has to demonize dissenters and free thinkers (I'm a Christian, by the way).

So you believe that everything belief system that is not trinitarian, not Yod Heh Vav Heh plus Joshua ben Joseph plus Shekinah (or whatever you are calling the Holy Spirit) is Satanic? Even those who opt out of all belief in any supernatural beings?

Guess you can do that if you wish. Wow! Very narrow palette then. Who else is on your Satanic list? Mormons? Muslims? Hindus? JWs? Catholics? It does get pretty scary there.

People seem to be confused about the meaning of atheism.

Atheists do not believe in the possibility that there are deities or gods.

That does not necessarily mean anti-religious, Buddhism is an example of a religion which borders on athiesm as it has no real active principal deities.

Nor do they necessarily believe that "god" is mythological, or non-existant, or made-up. Nor do they necessarily deny the possibility of a very god-like creator, one with many qualities similar to god but lacking some principle quality that seperates it from god (usually either all-knowing or all-powerful).

I'm not so certain that you have cleared anything up.

Atheists do not believe that God exists nor in the possibility of such an existence. (Tough position to defend unless you are omniscient) Neither do they believe in the existence of any "spiritual beings" which would include angels and demons.

Therefore I would conclude that atheists are not satanists.

Satan is, however, very happy to have atheists helping him out.... what a team...

Athiests disbelieving in any form of divine presence are not Satanic. They are more science minded. For a person to be Satanic requires a belief in god first then that Satan is better than god. Why must they believe in god first? Simple without god there is no Satan. God created satan, if you eliminate the creator you eliminate the creation.

Well, you chrsitians can call them satanic, but as they don't believe in satan or worship satan I would say that is an incorrect statement. And many atheists behave in a ways that might be considered "Christian" i.e. they love their neighbors, do unto others as they would have them do unto to them, don't steal, don't lie, honor their mothers and fathers, don't covet their neighbors wife, don't kill, etc. They just don't believe in divinity of any kind. Moral behavior does not require a belief in god, and much immoral behavior is conducted by believers.
