This movie really made me think about how easy it would be to cover up the truth...even if the movie is fiction..or is it????

Didn't read the book. I thought it was interesting and kinda romantic with Mary's body in the crypt. As for Da Vinci himself I think he was possessed but interesting anyway. After all if some religious fiction writer like the Left Behind series can get rich why not Brown? Besides there may have been some hidden truth in the whole thing anyway. It has been mentioned about things being added and taken away in the Bible by Jesus anyway.......right? Many religious scholars argue interpretation don't they?

you mean Da Vinch that Stole Easter?? bottom line
Marie Antoinette was not the legacy of Mary Magdalene....sheesh..
basically it is a platform to spread a not very good case about Gnostisitism and discredit the gospels

even the liberal Jesus Seminar doesnt think much of the so called research behind it

the scholarship is poor, the history is refered to in a loosey goosey manner and the gospels stand

The most serious problem is on his website Dan Brown portrays all the fictional history as true and accurate and takes massive liberties with endless bizare claims... like Yawheh being from Jehovah and EVE... you would have a tough tough time finding a scholar who believes that and if you did youd be staring at a quack

Pure out and out garbage. Much was taken from the book "Holy Blood, Holy Grail". Dan Brown is a very confused individual who doesn't understand church history and makes a mockery of Christ. He claims many things to be "facts" which have been easily refuted. If he claimed the sky was blue, I would have to go check since I wouldn't trust anything he says or writes.

Considering that he did not die in the movie "Castaway" which sucked balls and that this movie also dragged on quite a bit (although the concepts are interesting despite the fact they are most likely false) and could've been made so much better if only there was more violence attributed to Tom Hanks...god i hate him...

Full of Fiction, warped truth, lies, and false historical evidence- just fiction, but claiming to be truth to divert others from what is real.

Read a history book

It was a really nice trail of 'hidden truths'. It got a bit tiring after awhile. However, no one should take it seriously seeing as how none of the 'truths' are true. Brown did not do his research because it can all be proved untrue. ~

IT DOESN'T INTEREST ME AT ALL.
I AM LEAST BOTHERED ABOUT THE STUFF THAT HAPPENED IN THE LAST 2000 YEARS.
I THINK LIFE IS MUCH LARGER TO THINK UPON.
WE HAVE BEEN IN EXISTENCE FOR AGES AND WILL REMAIN IN SOME OR THE OTHER FORM ................ SUCH SILLY BOOKS PROVIDE NOTHING BUT FICTIOUS ENTERTAINMENT THAT LEADS YOU NOWHERE.THEY WONT ASSIST YOU AFTER YOU DIE.
RESPECT YOUR RELIGION IT'S GOOD BUT ALWAYS KEEP AN OPEN MIND. THINK WHY NOT EVERYONE IS BORN AS A CHRISTIAN. THEIR WAS LIFE BEFORE CHRIST AND WILL REMAIN FOREVER.

A re hash of a book I read YEARS AGO.
The author admits being a Christian Hater so that tells a lot.

Not much Fact in the book or the movie.

OLD NEWS NOW!

It had too much creepy things in the commercials so I didn't see it... but i read the book and when I went to camp, the preacher called me a demon. So at night I snuck into his cabin and started hissing and acting all creepy. It was funny.
