I'm sure there are scads of people with the same schedule, but since you feel it isn't enough.......get a hobby.....take up a sport.....do volunteer work on weekdays.........find something that interests you and get involved.

Somewhere, out there, beneath the pale moon light, there is a job that screams your name.
You may not know what it is until it is right before you, and when you find it, your bones with ache for it. All the energy you see yourself using to chat, watch TV, will be used to focus on the steps to get that job.
When I get off work from an 8 hour day, I come home and watch TV, answer "???s" on Yahoo Answers, eBay, and myspace. Weekends are mine to hang out with friends. So, you aren't much different than me. I found a job I enjoy after the job I loved I could no longer do. Good luck, Hon!

i'm like that now... it doesn't matter if you have a job or not! i have a dead end desk job and all i do is sit here make calls and play on the interenet (myspace, yahoo, msn, etc) and i go home, i have no motivation to do anything because my job is sooooo boring i am just tired after i get off! now on the weekends i live it up... doing whatever swimming, movies, clubs, parties, you name it but during the week, i don't do anything! i don't feel it's normal, that's why i'm looking for a different job where i am move active... i can't stand this...
if i were you, i would get a job (at a dr office, factory, restaurant, gracery store, etc) just to have things to do and have real people to interact with... take it from me, you will thank me later!
What city do you live in... i can help you look up jobs online...

I'm guessing the reason you cannot find a job is, because your sitting at home watching t.v. getting on myspace and partying all weekend. Go figure.

Anything that you do now a days is routine, I get up in the morning, go to work, get off work at 4 pick up my kids, take them home cook, clean, give the kids a bath, put 'em to sleep, and by then I'll be exhausted so I take my shower and head to bed, and the same thing the next day... I try to go out on the weekends, like this weekend I will be camping, and next weekend I'll be in vegas......

I don't have the same routine...but I don't think yours is a weird one. You're just relaxing on your time off! It's not like you are hiding in the closet all summer....you talk to your friends and you get out every once in a while...its all good. If you're enjoying your vacation then it's exactly what you should be doing !!

It's normal if you are a student and will be starting school in the Fall. There's not much summer left, so enjoy it unless you really need money or are really bored. I'd throw some physical exericise once a day in your routine to stay healthy.

Use this free time creatively - you could dabble in making things with pottery or knitting or write stories. It is possible that you have a talent that you are unaware of and you can use this someday as a career or even just as a rewarding hobby. Enjoy your free time and let your mind wander and do what it will - that is how you learn to be who you are.

I have kids so that is one reason I stay home during the summer but it will drive you crazy to stay home all the time. and sometimes when you stay home all the time it is just so easy to d0 that and then you don't want to go out.
