Wicca is a nature based pagan religion, and as such is a right handed religion. They, like most pagans, don't believe in Satan. He solely belongs to the Abrahamic religions of the Middle Eastern deserts. The concept of "Satan" originated with Judaism and was elucidated further by Christians and Muslims. This Judeo-Christian-Islamic view of Satan can be broken up as follows:
Jewish: Satan (שטן) in Hebrew, means "adversary" or "accuser", and is also the name used for the angel who tests believers. Satan is not considered an enemy of God, but a servant whose duties include testing the faith of humanity.
Islamic: The Arabic word for Satan, "al-Shaitaan" (الشيطان) means transgressor, or adversary, as in Judaism. It is a title which is generally attributed to a being called Iblis, who is a Jinn that disobeyed God and was condemned consequently by God to serve as a source of misguidance for mankind and the Jinn to test their faith in God. Iblis is said to be the proper name for the devil-like figure named in the Qur'an whereas there are many Shaitan.
Christian: In most branches of Christianity, Satan, originally Lucifer before he fell away from Grace, is a spiritual being or angel who was once in God's service. Satan is said to have fallen from God when he surrendered to his own vanity and refused to take his proper place in creation (In Christianity, the fallen "son of the dawn" of Isaiah 14:12 is identified with the "adversary" of the Book of Job.) It is said to be Satan who whispered to man that he could become as God, negating his creaturely position, which led to man's original sin and his being cast out of Eden. Satan is also referred to as the Devil from the Greek "diabolos" (Διαβολος), meaning "slanderer" or "one who accuses falsely" (derived from the verb "dia-ballô" (δια-βαλλω) which most literally means "to throw across" or "carry something over").
Satanism, on the other hand, is a offshoot of christianity, and has no bering on ANY pagan religion, and is a left handed path.

Wicca is an Earthbased religion... They do NOT worship nature (I'm so tired of hearing that one)... they worship a Goddess... some incorporate a consort God with the Goddess, but the Goddess is the one with the emphasis. They do not believe in "devils" in that sense, so it would be silly to say they worship Devils. To say they worship something different would be more accurate...
Devil worshippers are generally young teenagers who use this for shock value. I can't honestly say I have ever met one, outside of those who use it for shock value, who truly do worship devils... or any type of image of a devil.
This has a lot to do with the black and white view of certain verses in the bible... if you don't worship God then you are a child of Satan... right? What I find amazing about this, is 2 people with the Christian label can worship God differently, even see him differently (sometimes completely different... warlike vs loving) yet they will not say "he's actually worshipping the devil" BECAUSE they both use the Christian label... but if someone with a different label comes along, with the same description as the God a Christian worships, they will still be called devil worshippers... just because they don't use the Christian Label.
And there's your difference.

Wiccans worship Earth Mother - at least the ones I know do. It is a religion that traces its roots to a time before monotheism. The Devil is someone you find in the Judeo-Christian-Muslim faiths. Buddhists, for instance, don't have one.
Some fundamentalist Christians lump every religion that isn't fundamentalist Christianity into "Devil Worship" because they assume anyone who isn't one of them is wrong, and must have been mis-led from the One True Path by the Devil. They lump Buddhists and Hindus in with the Satanists, much to the Buddhist and Hindus chagrin. The more conservative ones throw Cathoilics and Mormons in with the Devil Worshipers too.
If you lump all non-Christians into "Devil Worship", well, Wiccans go into the lump with Buddhists, Animists, Hundus, Sikhs, Taoists . . . .
There is a bunch of whackos who belong the First Church of Satan. They are proud to be Devil Worshipers, mostly. Some just join to meet women who like to have sex a lot.

I don't really know anyone who worships Satan. Satanists don't actually worship Satan, they only call themselves that because they are implying they are the opposity of Christians. Instead of focusing on spiritual matters - which they think are moot point, one, and two not important, and all that matters is the present - they focus on the material world, and physical pleasures. Visit the Church of Satan website for more comprehensive info.
Wiccans don't believe in Satan. Satan is a construct of the Christian church. Wiccans believe in a God and Goddess and it is centered in nature and reverence for it. They believe that the God and Goddess are ominipresent and are in and around all things. This is why they find reason to appreciate all of nature and is why many people mistake they as 'nature-worshippers'.
Wicca is a very spiritual path (if followed properly)
I am Pagan -- and I can only speak for me when I say that I believe in one God (the Creator of All Things) that I sometime split into two beings - a God and Goddess - simply for the ease of personal relating to the Creator better. It's a very peaceful path that centers on helping, and not harming others. All religions are very simliar when you look at the very core of them. :-)
Blessings and Light

Wicca is a Goddess/nature oriented Pagan religion based on the principles of respect for others and for the environment, respect for themselves, and doing harm to none. Devil Worship is a Protestant faith based solely on the Bible and on Church teachings, it has nothing to do with Paganism, Pagans don't believe there is a Devil, or that one is needed, since all evil in the world is the result of people mis-using their free will.

Everything! I'm Wiccan and i do not worship the devil. Read about it. I love the Lord and the Lady. I pray to them and I try to do only good. It really hurts to hear someone tell me i worship the devil, it is not true. But i guess everyone will think what they want to about others.

Well, in brief, Wicca is a religion much like any other. They believe in two gods instead of one, and have no belief of the devil. Some of them believe in magick--not as an unnatural force, but as an extension of the natural world, which they deeply revere.

Wicca: a religion influenced by pre-Christian beliefs and practices of western Europe that affirms the existence of supernatural power (as magic) and of both male and female deities who inhere in nature and that emphasizes ritual observance of seasonal and life cycles.
Satanism: obsession with or affinity for evil; specifically : the worship of Satan marked by the travesty of Christian rites.
Two very different things.

Females who practice this form of devil worshiping, as most others just plain out will practice worshiping satan, it sounds better to folks to say they practice Wicca . Both will give you a one way ticket to hell in the end, I guess you can say an express ticket!
