I am a vet. I served from '67 to '71 at a time when the outcries were even worse then now. I hated it then as I do now. People die on both sides, war is hell and so is hatred anywhere you find it. I don't believe anyone should die in vain. God Bless us all.

GOD BLESS EACH AND EVERY MAN OR WOMAN,FIGHTING FOR OUR FREEDOM, PEACE AND LOVE TO ALL

As long as they are there to PROTECT something or themselves, I am open to give a God Bless.
However, this should be interpreted on an individual level. Killers, sinners should also be blessed, but for another reason: in order to change!
Moreover, there are many who are there due to their bad material situation only... I cannot really appreciate that, but neither blame them..... probably they had no better choice!

I am sending them a God Bless only because I don't like to judge others... they may die for the interests of other people and I don't see the point in that..... so... without judgement, God take care them to be able to go back to their families safely.
And this is valid for both sides!

With a dear one serving over there, SAVING lives, while we sit here waiting, hoping and praying, I'll give a blessing and a great big THANK YOU to you for this kind effort!

On the record, I hear what's REALLY going on over there, and our men ARE saving lives at their own personal risk. While the families sacrifice the absense and sometimes death of our loved ones. They ARE fighting for freedom, currently the freedoms of others but freedom all the same. We are all part of the human family and so we are responsible for each other. I honor and respect every man, woman and their families who give of themselves to help others. Mother Theresa didn't help people because it got her anything, she gave of herself out of love for humankind.

If we had more love and tolerance in this world we wouldn't have to be there right now.

I am a U.S. Army veteran. The military is not "risking their lives for our freedom" at the present time. The current fighting taking place has nothing to do with freedom. Good day.

Absolutely! They are out there in 100 plus degrees with their gear on so that people on this forum can maintain the right to be hateful, bitter and abusive. Meanwhile, there are morons in prison whining about the air conditioning. How ironic.

May the Divine Creator of All Things bless and keep those fighting for our freedom overseas safe. May they always know how grateful we are for their sacrifice.
