be yourself! don't try to act to flirty or whatever just be your self at first. if he doesn't get the hint then start to be a little flirty but not quite at first. wait a while. getting a guy to like you and go out with you doens't happen overnight.

Be yourself. No one likes a fake. You cant base a relationship on a lie(s). If you met a guy you like then get to know him. Become his friend, then flirt a little and go from there.

You need to be confident. Never be clingy or doubtful about yourself. If a guy gives you a compliment, never say "no, not me" just say thanks and smile. I think guys like girls who are confident and proud.
