I think that this person should try and get some help. If they are upset and depressed, the best thing they can do is find someone to talk to. They could talk to a friend, or here are organisations like the Samaritans (who are on the internet and on the phone) and Childline who are there to talk to and listen to people who feel like they want to kill themselves.
It's understandable when life is difficult that people get depressed and want it to stop. But it's important to remember as well that things will change - they will. You should always look after yourself and if you need help, ask for it.

If it's a child or an elderly person thats talking about suicide then you should tell someone so they can be helped to get through the situation they are in.
Tell someone so they can be helped or even go to the doctors with them so they can get the help they need.
People do not go into care through their own fault, that isn't the way it works. They are in care so they can be kept safe & live unmolested.

I think that would be horrible for the person in care.... and someone would miss them if they took their own life....
No matter how bad things are now, the person in care has the ability to grow stronger from the experience, get themselves an education and make a better life for themselves... they are still young enough to start again....
I would say that this person needs to talk a counsellor, teacher or family friend to talk about how they are feeling....

This needs urgent attention from professionals. The youngster should have a Social Worker and possibly a foster parent or houseparent. It sounds as though their opinion needs to be expressed to those who can help. It's obviously not working for whatever reason and needs to be attended to without fail. I think it must be taken seriously and the matters addressed as a matter of urgency.

I would think how I'd love to give them a big hug and tell them it will all be ok in the end. And I would tell them to find someone to talk to.

I wouldn't judge them and I would be there for them if they needed someone to talk too. I have been there myself so I know how it feels.
