Isn't it pretty likely that Jesus heard someone talking about Buddhism somewhere?

No. Buddhism did not come later. Buddhism was already being practiced and was being spread to China by the 1st century CE while Jesus was still learning how to walk.

I think Jesus' teachings have quite a few concepts that can also be found in Eastern philosophies. Whether or not He had contact with Buddhists or Hindis, I don't know.

Since Jesus has always been alive, I doubt He had to "hear" of anything to know aall about it.
