Well, mom probably isn't aware of what it really means. Many won't and don't.
Those that do will confront you with their concerns very soon, if not right away.
You'll be ok though. Mom is envious because she realizes that you now have the best of both worlds and that will make her jealous as heck!!!!
Of course, she will be wondering what side of the family you got that from though. Not too worry, almost every family knows someone who has been bi. It's only human nature. Try not to be too hard on yourself. Think of the positives here. Have a sense of humor about it too.

Hang around ur mom a bit lot than usual, then try 2 discuss different matters and act as if nothing ve happened and she wnows nothing, then if u see that she is not talking wid u like she used 2 talk earlier, then u ask her whatz wrong and why is she not responding 2 her, if she tells u what she found out then u better ve good answers 4 her question and if she talks wid u like she also dont know anything then let da matter be like a bad dream, just dont press that matter infront of her.

It seems like a weight should be off your shoulders, and you now have someone to talk to about it all if you need to. I think maybe she was waiting for you to decide to trust her. It's a big step disclosing such information and I think her knowing it, at the moment, may be making you feel embarrased, but given time you'll get over that.

ask her how she feels about bisexuality, once you open the door to the conversation it helps her understand you a little better and also helps you be more comfortable at home!
depending on how old you are this might just be a phase, between 14-19 you learn a lot and like to explore a lot! please enjoy your youth and don't get to caught up in to many relationships.

I would say that you have a very supportive mum. She either didnt say anything about it because she loves you for who you are. Which is a good thing or she didnt know what to say to you. I would go with answer number one though. Good luck

well I guess parents are supposed to be behind you no matter what you do. The reason your mom did'nt tell you is because she dont know what to say, maybe shes just as imbarrased as you are. Find a good time to ask her what does she think about it,and whats her feelings towards it.

Why do anything? Parents don't want to think about their children's sexual escapades any more than their kids want to think about what their parents might be into. She definitely wouldn't want to discuss it with you, and it is evident that she is not concerned. It has nothing to do with sexual orientation, and think that you are reading into the thing a little too much.

Nothing. I would just think she didn't want to embarass me by bringing up a sensitive subject and that she was waiting for me to find the right time to tell her.
