I do not heat anything that is plastic or polymer in the microwave, whether is says "microwave safe" or not. They used to think Teflon was okay too - now we know better.

It just isn't worth the risk.

Even frozen entrees can be "popped" out of their plastic containers and put on a plate or into a bowl to microwave.

Yes it is safe to rewarm if you have refrigerated the items before you serve them again..be careful about warming stuff up in the microwave and have it on a turntable in your microwave so there is even heating..

If you reheat your food in styrofoam or plastic, some of the chemicals from those materials can seep into your food. Its best to use microwave-safe glass or stoneware.
