His first excuse was WMD. Nobody but him knows the real reason.

It had absolutely nothing to do with WMD. He was planning to find justification for attacking Iraq, ahead of time. I'm sure it has a lot to do with 4 things: 1) trying to set up the US as the most powerful country in the world; 2) paybacks for his father's humiliation at the last Gulf War failure; 3) control of oil resources and profit for his friends; 4) some people persuaded him to take actions that would further the Israeli agenda (whether he knew that or not remains an open question). There were no WMD, except some old canisters of expired nerve gas. But the US did help build Iraq a factory for producing one of the precursors for nerve gas. Sounds crazy doesn't it?
My question to you is how can we get out of there as quickly as possible with the minimum damage and loss of life?

He did not start the war. Where do you people come from? Have you lived under a rock? The terrorists started this and we are going to finish it. Iraq has always been a problem country. If you don't believe that, talk to those in Kuwait who endured, rape and torture when he invaded. I'm so sick of people who have no real world experience thinking this is about oil etc. If this was about oil, we would wage war on the environmentalists who do not want us tapping into the oil in Texas, Alaska and Oklahoma to name a few. This would make the oil companies a lot more money because of the decrease in shipping costs.

Oils seems to be a recurring answer. However, I'd like to ask what oil?? We have not taken one drop of oil out of Iraq since this started. If oil barons are getting rich, it has nothing to do with Iraq.
We are there helping a people that need it. The soldiers over there know this. Saddam and his followers were dangerous and still are. Look what they did to their own people. Look at the stashes of money found by our troops that he kept away from his people who needed it. The weapons were there. Just because we didn't find what people thought we should doesn't mean the threat wasn't there. They had plenty of time to hide them or get them out. Look across the Syrian border.
I'm sick of this liberal and coservative, right and left, Democrat and Republican bullcrap. Nobody is to blame for anything. Everything our president does comes with Congresses approval. Our Constitution ensures that. Maybe it's time to quit fighting among ourselves, unite and actually accomplish something that will help everyone.

First of all this question you have asked has been asked many times. Bush did not start the war and there were weapons in Iraq. Even if there were not any weapons there people need to start looking at the whole picture. Look at the way he treated his people. The cruelty of how he made them live and deaths he caused. No I don't like losing our soldiers but this country needs to stand by each other and stop throwing stones.

G Bush did not start the war. We a peaceful country had 3000 people killed on one day. We are now fighting for our lives so many more Ameicans want have their Heads cut off by a rusty dull sword. But come to think about maybe some of us fighting American should look the other way for awhile.

I agree with you completely. I believe Bush started this war not only to finish what his daddy started but to steal their oil. He is a heartless idiot, and the media does little to report what he actually does in Iraq. All people hear about is the American Soldiers who die, and of course it's horrible that they're over there giving their lives for such an empty cause, but no one ever hears about the thousands of innocent Iraqi civilians who die there on their own land. There are little kids getting their families killed and limbs blown off, their futures gone completely and forever. George Bush started this war for no reason but pure selfishness, and kids are dying due to his idiocy.

Why Blame Bush, Even the Dems voted FOR the war. And when Bush was asked to pull out of Iraq, he sent it out to vote in the house, once again the Dems voted to STAY in Iraq.

One thing americans dont understand is that Bush made a mistake they did have fairly good intelligence and he always went to his intelligence briefings he only made a mistake and it is not totally absurd that he assumed they had wmds iraq did use chemical and biological weapons in the iraq iran war in the 80's and it was very possible they had nuclear weapons.

I think it is foolishness of your Bush to attack Iraq. He wants to be a policeman, policing the entire world.
Bush is smart and has kept all the leaders of the world, except some, in his pocket, so that no body questions him.

He wants to control the oil in the Middle East. We all know they didn't find no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, and yet he still wouldn't pull out the US troops.
