It would only be logical to assume that if God created everything, had a plan for everyone and knew everything happening in the world, than it means that God is the creator of the Devil and the Devils path in life and allowed the creation of Hell. So God could be held accountable for the creation of Hell.

As far as thou shalt not kill goes, I think that has been reworded in the newer editions of the bible to read "thou shalt not kill unless a Christian tells you when, where and how to do it." But then we all know the bible is full of contradictions so we can not expect its followers to be anything more than walking contradictions themselves.

Hell is the absence of God; hence, God is not in Hell.

I am a Christian, and I don't believe in the dealth penalty for the very reason you state.

If god was omnibenevolent he would not allow hell to exist.

An eternity of suffering is incongruent with an omnipotent, omniscient, omnibenvelovent, and just god.

It is unfair to use logic or rational thinking with Christians as they have no idea what it is. Oh silly me, of course they know - it's the devil's work!
