Well... let's get to the nitty-gritty, shall we?

Nero 7 is the industry standard for cd/dvd *burning*, but I'm getting the feeling that burning isn't really what you're gunning for anyway.

Instead, I really believe you mean *video editing*.

If you wanna dance wit' the big boys (and girls), then we're talking applications like Avid, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere (and to a lesser degree, Pinnacle) so you can do stuff like bluescreening/chroma key, compositing/layering, speed up/slow down time, image warping, split screen... major motion picture stuff.

Eh.. or I could be wrong. If so, my apologies.

Have a nice day.

Adobe Encore can create professional DVD menus from your video clips.

An easier, more user friendly solution would be Pinnacle Studio 10, which is under $100 for a version that includes DVD Authoring and video editing.
