What about .... just toughing it out???

It's great when you have a job you love and would do for free ... but that isn't generally the way the world is.

You have a job because you need to have money to pay for a variety of things you wouldn't have without it, right?

Everything you do in life has some sort of a price tag and some kind of benefit. If you drop out of high school, the benefit is you can do all the fun stuff school keeps you from doing ... but you pay for it the rest of your life.

If you have a job you don't enjoy, you have the money you need to buy the thngs you DO enjoy ... but you have to just suck it up.

Cost/benefit.

You make your own breaks, my friend. There is no free lunch. You have to be willing to "pay the price" to get all the stuff you want ... and none of it comes free.

If you think you "deserve a break" ... you need to think about whether or not you have EARNED a break ... because the breaks usually go to the people who have paid for those breaks with blood, sweat and tears.

It is hard to get a break sometime. If you are working and going to school, then you are working toward something, so hopefully things won't always be this way. It sounds to me as if you are more stressed than depressed. I am a college student and I have been for the past three years ( I am almost done). I also work a lot of hours at a job that I am not happy with, the only suggestion I have is know that you have goals, and each day you work, and everytime you complete a homework assignment you are one day closer to reaching a goal and living a better life. I feel your pain, believe me, I know how hard it is..

Sometimes you have to roll with the punches.. I hate my job too, and I am in school as well and I also have to pay bills. There are many, MANY people in the same situation. You just have to keep working hard and looking to the future.

Start looking for another job. Ask counselors at school to help you find something that will make you happy. Dive into other activities that make you happy like exercise or reading...or anything else that you like to do.

Sometimes, life throws difficulties at us and we just have to keep moving ahead instead of dwelling on the past and present and getting upset and emotional over it. Good luck.

what do you really want to do? focus on school? find a fulfilling job? can you do both at the same time. I would say, if your focus is on school, then cut out the superfluous expenses (car, move to a smaller place with roommates, eat at home...) and you´ll be able to have a less stressful job that will pay your expenses. being a college student means you won´t have all the money for the fancy things, but you will have more time to focus on what you really think is important (learning, experimenting new ideas...) get a loan for the classes, they usually have low interests on that.
most of all, get out of your rut and your routine. You are the one that´s stopping yourself from getting the break. don´t be too rash, begin with cutting back on expenses, and you´ll see... you don´t need that shitty job! I mean, as a student , you can just waitress and get by! and it can be fun...
lastly, lots of enjoyable things are free...it´s summer, so just going to hte park , have a picnic with some friends on the weekend. go out for a walk at night. if you leave by the beach, go for a swim! enjoy life. stop making your focus the bills. they will be easier to take care of if you stop agonizing over them and focus on what you want out of your life.
it seems the problem is not the job, but the lack of balance in your life...
just my opinion...

Grin and bear it, try to find the plus in the job bring your own flavor to it, make it an adventure.
as soon as school starts back, try to find another job something that you love doing so then it doesn't seem like work. we all go through that period some of us stay stuck in it some of us move past it, which will you be? you have the power to change things in your life.. look close. God bless and enjoy

Maybe you could get a student loan so that you focus on school while still maintaining your finances. That's what I do and it works. The money's tight, but at least I don't have to worry too much.
