Research shows that the most intense orgasms come from masturbation. Because YOU are in control, you also have the best chance of prolonging them.
That's the purely physical side.
Sex with a partner you really care about gives the orgasm a deeper meaning that to most people is better than the purely physical orgasm from masturbation.

The second one during sex is usually the incredibly intense one for Me. And yes, the first one during regular sex is MUCH MUCH more intense than just tossing one off.
