Dogs wag their tails when they are excited or happy. On the other hand, cats are opposite... if their tail starts wagging it means they are getting mad, or ready to pounce.

To show you they're happy! Even when they're not happy they wag their tails, just to make you happy. Wonderful creatures, aren't they? :) I love dogs!

When dogs wag their tails it means their happy and if they hold their tail up high it also means their happy! But I dunno "why" they wag their tails...

their happy. if it's under their legs, they scared. if it's just down, their sad. nose wet = happy as well. nose dry = tired.
