"Let us touch the base tomorrow on it" means "let us communicate or come in contact about it tomorrow"

To touch base on something is just to talk about it or to get an update on something. So "Let's touch base on it tomorrow" becomes "We'll come back to that topic tomorrow"

touch base as in baseball. you must touch all bases before you can score. It insures success, so if you touch base with someone you will cover an important step to achieve your goal.

It means that they'll talk to you more about it tomorrow and whatever progress they have made between the time they said it to you and the time they talk to you about it again.
