Though it is a beautiful name, Emily has become the new "Jennifer." She is likely to be surrounded by other Emily's. If you are ok with this go for it. If not, you may want to go with something not on the top 10 names for girls list.

I like Grace more than Emily and simply because Emily is the # 1 name for girls. There were 4 Emily's in my son's class of 20. I like something a little less ordinary.

For a baby? a song? a hamster? a yacht? In all of these cases I think its very feminine. Although its hard to imagine a 20 or 50 year old named Emily Grace. Its one of those things only 4 year olds can pull off.

I know of two children that are named Emily Grace. It is a beautiful and elegant name that is timeless, but just remember that it is a fairly common name.

sounds like a grandma name, one of my english classes half of the lecture was devoted to old lady names for interpreting literature and emily was one of the top ones and the story we read by faulkner a rose for emily was about a heinous looking necrophiliac, not a pritty or sexy name at all
