The first thing they teach you in sunday school is that, sometimes, God will say no to a prayer and often when you think God is saying "No" he is just saying "Wait a while- I'll make it happen." You have to have faith that God hears you and is in the process of answering your prayers

Recently I was accepted into my first choice school for September- a dream come true! However, the tuition was WAY too high and my family couldn't pay. We applied for a 50% off bursary , and were supposed to be notified by March, but we didn't get the letter. I was a wreck during that time and I kept praying to God that the letter would come. Finally, in the middle of MAY we got notification that the bursary was coming to our house, and I'm headed off to that school in the fall.

Are you listening to God when he tries to answer you? If not, just keep praying. Answers will come, trust me. And never forget that Jesus, just like a very good parent, loves you and only does what's best for you. :o)

Praying...

Are you praying his will or yours? If it's your will, you probably won't get what you are asking for; at least the in the form of an answer you want.

If you are praying for something that might hurt you or someone else; God won't answer them. Sometimes, the greatest gift is an unanswered prayer.

I believe there are three answers to prayers...
1) Yes
2) No
3) Not yet; be patient

Grace to you and God Bless!

Unlike us mere mortals, God doesn't need a vacation. Rest assured your prayers have been heard... but sometimes we just don't get the answers we are expecting. Which can be a very good thing! Leave things in God's hands... pray often... but trust His wisdom. He loves you.

When you pray, Godwill aleays answer. Let me explain. I what you pray for is not what God wants for you, he will answer the prayer in a different way. Whether or not you choose to recognize the way that God answers your prayer or not is up to you.

For example, Someone is dying and they pray to God to get better and that is not his plan, God will help that persom cope with his suffering.

maybe what you are praying for isn't what you need. there is a song by garth brooks in which he says sometimes i thank god for unanswered prayers remember when you're talkin to the man upstairs that just because he doesn't answer doesn't mean he don't care some of god's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers

No! Sometimes, it just takes a long time before your prayers will be answered... You should be patient... He knows the right time when your prayers should be answered... Just be patient and keep on praying... He also wants to observe how you're being patient and faithful...

Maybe you aren't listening closely enough. Sometimes the answer is in whispers. And sometimes it just takes time for an answer.

God never rests nor slumbers. Sometimes he doesn't give us the answer we want or expect. Keep listening!
