I've never had turkey eggs, but turkey legs...lol

Yes turkeys lay eggs like all other birds. My opinion is that since turkeys dont lay as many eggs as chickens and the eggs are larger that people cultivated the chicken as an egg layer over the turkey. Turkeys are also harder to keep healthy than chickens and that no doubt played a role in that decision.

Yes, Turkeys lay eggs, they are about twice as large as Chicken Eggs and have a stronger taste that is unpleasent to a lot of people. However some people do eat the eggs prepared just like chicken eggs.

Great question. In a perfunctory search, I found this: Turkeys don t lay that many eggs, and the ones they do lay are used to produce more turkeys

Yes they do lay eggs. There is not really a great need in the market for thoes kinds eggs and they don't lay as much as chicken does. I belieive they are bigger than chicken eggs. But it is easier to raise chicken than turkeys.

yeah i think they do lay eggs, but i think we don't eat them because it's not of our tradition.
