Your body doesn't reach cardiovascular thresholds until after 30 minutes. So 30 minutes is the minimum. Anything after 30 minutes is worth the time.

Depends on how fast you go. If you just leisurly peddle, it will take awhile to get a good workout. If you put some speed into it and add some hills, an hour is about right. You won't get a real good workout unless you push yourself.

I would say about a hour but if you go by miles I would say 5 to 10 miles go with what is comfortable you start lagging its time to stop dont over exert yourself.

well it depends if you are going up hill or down hill or just flat areas but if its flat areas i say about 1hr 30mins now up hills and flat areas 1hr then down hill like 3hr because you dont really have to petal

Just keep riding until you can't ride anymore. Then take a break, and ride back home.
