well, my fav breed is mutts -- supposedly they have less problems that purebreds have because of the diff breeds mixed in w/ them and if the combinations r mixed right, the dog could have an awesome personality -- i am Not knocking purebreds because i love golden retrievers, and border collies and others too.

my dog was part lab and part whippet -- he had the best combination of both dogs -- extremely loyal, very supportive of me, friendly and he'd do anything for me (anything that a dog Can do for a person) -- he was my best friend -- he lived w/ congestive heart disorder for 4 yrs cuz he knew i needed him and normally pets that have that problem die within a year so he was strong -- He died this past dec when he was 14 1/2. No dog could Ever replace him.

Teddy was the sweetest dog and everyone in my neighborhood just fell in love w/ him because of his nature -- he treated everyone the same -- never turned anyone away and if people were mean to him, he still treated them and was nice to all. Teddy loved people and Teddy taught me a Lot about life and love and how to treat people and how Not to treat people -- he was a great teacher for me and I learned a Ton from him all the years I had him -- In my eyes, he was perfect because of all he showed me thru his yrs -- the most special dog ever and 1 day, hope to get another lab/whippet or another mutt or just another dog since i know none can replace Teddy. sorry, know u didn't ask for this much but its true!!!

I never get tired of this question... ;)

I love most breeds of dogs, but my favorite will always be the Boston Terrier. I've had them my whole life, my dad had them before me, and my grandpa before him. The first Bossie to grace our family was a male named "Pal", way back in the 40's.

We've never had a "bad" Bossie. We've never even had a particularly unhealthy one. All but one lived to a ripe old age of 13. The other died at 9. They have *all* loved kids, and have never bitten children. They were created to be companion dogs, and they are very, very good at it. (My grandpa also loved their rodent-hunting abilities on his farm... Ever see a Boston go after a mouse? Look out!)

I have three of them now, and they are the sweetest. They've argued over who's gotten to lay next to my babies. (I've had three of those, too.) The kids climb and tug and hug, and the Bossies just let them do it. If they have too much, they just go away and sleep somewhere else. They are very smart and have great senses of humor. You have to love a dog that can take a joke...

I couldn't be without them. Other things will come and go, including homes, jobs, and husbands, but I will *always* have my Boston Terriers.

My all time well-known breed is the Labrador Retriever (Jasper, Black Lab is only a colour). I had a chocolate dogs and a black b#tch. They were bred rather to reproduce. regrettably, Roxanne's muddle died interior her and she or he had to have a "hysterectomy". It broke my heart to have her spayed because she changed into one of those fantastic get mutually of a Labrador Retriever. Sidney knew a minimum of 40 people words. the most individuals-eye-catching dogs walking in this earth. I omit both one in all them extraordinarily lo, those 10 years later.

Border Colie. I love dogs that can do agility and they are great for a family with kids over 5. And they are so pretty .

my family raises dogs and they r the ankle biters but they r soo cute and i really like shnoodles and they r a shnouer and poodle mix and the reason is that i am used to small dogs and if you have a big dog (if they are in the house) then it is really hard to house train them it is still hard but cause they r so small you dont have to hurt them you just have to scare them.hope it helped with whatever you wanted.

PUGS. I've got 5. They are great companion animals. Don't need acres of yard or better grooming than people get.
