fill a green lemonade bottle (7up or somet) with water and let it lie in your garden. Apparently they see their eyes in it and it scares them off - mad but my friend has done it for years cause theres about 7 cats in her next door neighbours house, and the cats never go near her house!

A Ladyfriend of mine swears by putting silver cd's usually of the freebee nature in the garden soil, the cat can see its reflection and doesn't come back, worth a try, I have also been informed that you can buy such a thing as a curry plant, and they hate those, but there must be a botanical name for it. But at the end of the day most people use pepper, but in B&Q they have battery operated small units that let out a high pitched sound that only the cat can hear and will find unbearable, few ideas to keep you going....good luck I have the same problem.

Here are the two best ways!
1) after cleaning up the mess....sprinkle some chilli pepper on the spot. Cats like to go in the same place, and find it by smell. This will burn the hell out of their nose and eyes! You'll hear then scream!
2) the other way is to put a can of tuna out mixed with crushed Talynole tablets. 4 per can should work. Cats will usually dies after eating it. Then all you have to clean up is a dead cat!!

spread lion poo! The cats are territorial and seem to know that lions are bigger than them so they stay away. You can try asking for it at your local zoo. The only trouble is that you then get stuck with bigger turds in your garden, but at least you don't have the cats.

I've got a bullet. Seriously a dog is really the only way, but then you have a dog doing their business on the lawn.

Thank you for posting this question. I don't have a solution but I read the ones that you got. I plan to use the one with the chili pepper on my lawn.
