If you don't have a cable, then the best alternative is to buy a card reader. A card reader should not cost you more than £10 and is universal. You don't need any software to install on your computer. Just connect the card reader to you computer through usb cable which is also supplied with the card reader and leave it connected forever (don't need to remove it at all - doesn't harm your computer).

Now just take the memory card (or a little disk as you say) from your camera and put that into the card reader. If you have Windows XP, then automatically a menu will appear on the screen asking you what to do (like copy photos to your computer, view slide show, or print photos). It is very very easy.

Please remember, never delete a picture from your memory card using your computer, it might damage your memory card. Always use your camera and format the card once you have downloaded all the photos to your computer

Now to record photos into a disk, you need to have a CD or DVD writer. If you do, then just use the software that comes with your cd drive to record CDs.

If it's a sim card (which is what I'm assuming you mean by "little disc") Then you need to have either the cable to hook from the camera to the computer or you need to have an adapter that you can insert the sim card into (like a disc drive.) The only other thing that you can do is to bring the sim card to a place like WalMart or WalGreens where they print digital pictures and upload them and then order them to be put on a cd. I think WalMart charges roughly $3 for the CD depending on how many photos.

I apologize in advance if people are against WalMart, I'm not trying to start a debate! Any place that prints digital photos should be able to put the pictures to a CD.

Your camera came with a cable that will plug into the USB port on your computer. If you cannot find the cable, then all you need is a card reader. So- yes, you can take the little card out and plug it into the card reader, that plugs into the USB port on your computer.

If you have devices with a few different card types, I'd suggest something like the sandisk 12-1 reader. (which is a terrific and small device) Or, if you just need to read from an SD card, you could buy something really small and cheap such as this (second link below)

It depends on the camera.. but usually if you go to radio shack (or a place like that) and ask them what cable you need (usually a usb cable).. then you leave your disk in your computer.. and plug the cable into your camera and into your computer.. and then if your camera had any software (a disc) that came with your camera.. you need to install (put the stuff from the disk to the comp) before you plug it in... then plug it in and it should bring up whatever program came on the software and then you can save those pics onto ur comp and delete 'em from ur camera.. (send me some pics) :p hah

IF YOU HAVE A PRINTER YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO INSERT THE MEMORY CARD INTO A SLOT IN IT. THEN DOWNLOAD YOUR PICTURES ONTO YOUR COMPUTER AND SAVE THEM TO A DISK.
