I have eaten dog meat in Beijing twice.
The first time I ate korean style dog and it was pretty bad :-(. I came into the restaurant and it smelled like wet dog smells. When the dishes came it was alot of fat and it tasted like wet dog smells.
The second time was better, it was roasted and tasted actually not different from "normal" meat.
I have to say though, most chinese people wouldn't eat dog meat either. Like us they are pretty disgusted ;-)
Try it

Unfortunately yes. I ate dog meat when I was in Beijing. I did not realized this until my friend told me about it after the dinner.
Did not notice much difference from the dog meat though.

Yes, it's not too bad, a bit like a really dry roast, could do with a good scoop of gravy!
