It's "day-cart" or perhaps "day-cartz" but I have heard the joke a ton. For a better intrpretation of this joke, try reading the opeing of the book "Red Dwarf" upon which the British TV show was based. Hillarious, and it include the wonderful metacognitive line "I think I'm thinking, so I possibly are".
