They will accept you, but there are certain MOS (military occupational specialties, in the Marines any way, rate in the navy, and I don't know what term the army and airforce use) that you cannot do. For instance, because of the optical equipment in armor (tanks), you cannot be a tanker, or an aviator. I am sure that there are others as well.

Yes. Although color blindness will limit some of the jobs you qualify for, you can join the military.

Color blindness is NOT a disqualifier. It only causes a restriction on what job you get. You cannot get any job that requires you to be able to distinguish colors. However, while color blindness alone is not a disqualifier, if there is another underlying condition that is causing it, or other medical conditions, THAT can disqualify you.

Yes they do, I am color blind and a female, which isn't too common. I was in the Corps 8 years, although, you are not allowed to do certain jobs, for example, electrician, communication wire tech, etc.

yes you are, as stated above it will restrict your job choices, for example they won't let you disarm bombs, "cut the blue wire!" oops.
I know because although I'm not completely colorblind I have a color perception problem, The hold up a card with a bunch of dots and you should see a number in there somewhere, I saw none. i was in the navy, and it worked out great because i ended up in navigation and that was a lot of fun.

NO THEY WILL NOT they will only restrist the types of jobs you can have. You will prolly end up being a PR in the Navy (parashute rigger) sumthing that does not depend on you seening colors! Then again depended on how bad you lose is might affect you as well.
