The only way I've seen anyone remove it is by bleaching their hair. I think it took more than once too. It's a pretty tough to get rid off!

I've dyed my hair black several times and the only way I do it is grow it out. Trim my hair little by little frequently. Its the safest way for you hair. If you dye another color you won't be able to se the difference and if you bleach it will mess up your hair really bad. I bleached it once and it took forever to get rid of the damage.

God, am I familiar with this or what? You could damage your hair severely if you do it with home or chemical remedies. Go to a hairstylist and have it done. Try to turn it to a lighter color, but not drastically lighter, like blond.

There used to be a shampoo called Prell, if you can find that online. Otherwise I think you need to see a stylist.
