It has been fixed? In other words will the toms still breed with them but with no results?

wha if I wanted them to go to heat to keep the toms happy but not reproduce thus attemting to create a stable community? Thus avoiding culling.

no, they will not still come into heat. They should not even let the toms attempt to breed with them. If they are showing any signs of heat, I would have a talk with the vet that did the spay, something is not right.

They don't go into heat after they have been "fixed." AND if you have your toms "fixed" the whole thing won't be an issue. Both sex cats need to be taken care of ---------------the world does not need any more kittens. There are thousands of them looking for a good home at any given moment in this nation alone.

Female cats will not go into heat after they've been fixed. A male cat may still try to mate with it, but obviously the female won't get pregnant.

The female should not go into heat at all. Their have been time where the vet did an incomplete surgery, accidentally, leaving the cat to still experience some of the hormonal symptoms.
Male cats & dogs may still mount other animals, regardless of being neutered. One of my male dogs still does it. One of my male cats used to do it to a stuffed animal. Boys.

She won't go into heat because her uterus is gone....just like a woman's no uterus no period....and cats don't have sex for pleasure it is merely a in heat occurrence. The female only allows a mating when in heat. I would not want to be the tom that tries!!

it wil not go in heat agian if it was properly spayed if it gets spayed and still goes in heat then the vet did it rong and the cat can still have young. you go in heat the same reson we (female humans) go into puberty. There is an egg laying in the plasenta sitting there not being used causes a female to blood. humans and animals. it was done rong and you got riped off if your cat is spayed and still goes in heat cause it can still have babies. but after a cat is spayed (with out going into heat) they can and might still mate cause cats like to get in bed too. LOL no just the male doesn't relize it.

No, they don't go into heat after they're spayed. I got mine spayed at 6 months before her first heat and she's never been in heat yet.

female cats do not go into heat after being spayed, a male cat might try to ...you know with her but she most likely wont allow this to happen, my female cat isn't spayed but even when she wasn't in heat the male would try to mount her and she wouldn't let him.

as long as the spaying was done correctly the female won't go into heat
