We cannot give away the things which we like the most or which we value above all or which we cannot live without.

It is different for different persons, as our likes, preferences, priorities, passions and necessities are different for each of us.

Dont you feel that this is the answer which deserves best rating :-) Thank you. Bye

Years ago, I wouldve said my heart or my love. But thru the years that becomes easier, Now, in my age and getting older, TRUST is definitely the hardest thing for me to give away.
Especially if trust between you and your own child is broken. Life becomes difficult, to trust anyone else is hard.

A child, knowing you can't care for your baby and then giving to strangers to spend your life wondering whether the baby is well taken care of, healthy, what they they look like, there are a million questions you ask yourself. A mother will tell you no one can love my child like me, they give a child up out of love for the child, then always wonder if someone is loving that child like they would.
