The absolute worst thing you can do is loose weight fast. Sets your body up to begin hording in order to survive the famine. Go to a qualified nutritionist and get on a good weight loss program and stick with it. Or go to your public library and check out books on nutrition. The last thing you want to do is get started doing what they call yo-yo dieting, fasting down to an ideal and than feasting back up to being overweight. The body's chemistry actually changes and it isn't long before loosing weight is almost impossible. Every fast reduces muscle mass and your heart is a muscle. JUST DON'T DO IT.

I think you should go work out but not really hard, maybe you can take some kind of free class at your Family Y, if there is a Family Y near where you live. You could do that and go there I guess everyday for however long it takes you to get tired, and watch what you eat, too. But when you work out, you shouldn't go at all to fast, you should take it easy like your having fun. I hear that makes you lose weight a lot faster. I hope that helps!

I would eat very healthy foods. Fruits, veggies, and whole grains. Skip fatty foods, desserts, salty foods, and soda. Drink a LOT of water to help your body pass the food that you do eat. Eat things that will fill you up and stay with you; Low fat peanut butter and jam on whole wheat bread for lunch with a salad and an apple to go along with it. Get some exercise. Start of power walking or jogging at least 20 minutes 6 days a week. Do some weight training to get toned. Just stick with it and the pounds will shed off!

No weight loss method has been consistently successful other than improving ones diet and getting more exercise.
The sites and companies that offer weight loss products are responsible for the majority of complaints that the FDA receives. This normally means that not only did they not work, but the treatments likely caused damage to the participants.
The FDA has their own suggestions on their site:

Try the Seattle Sutton diet. You have to be disciplined and do not cheat. It worked for me, I lost 28 lbs in 3 months. I did the 2000 calorie a day diet but they have a 1200 calorie a day as well. I don't recommend that because everyone I know that tried it got so hungry that they ended up binging because they got to hungry to control their urges. It is not cheap either, it will run about $120 a week but it really works.

- Do not eat more than 1000 calories per day.
- 6 to 8 glasses of water. This is a super diet pill trust me.
- Stick to Salads.
- Avoid carbs, chocolates or high calorie the first 2 weeks of ur diet.
- Walk 30 minutes minimum to 45 minutes per day.
In 2 weeks, if you follow this sincerely, you will have lost 10 to 15lbs.
Good luck.

Get yourself checked out to see if you don't have any metabolic problems that are hurting your efforts to lose weight. You may have hypothyroidism that slows metabolism down so you feel sluggish AND your efforts to lose weight don't work as well. A simple blood test by your doctor could figure it out.
Once any health problems are identified/resolved, follow the suggestions in these posts: exercise, fewer sugars, more fruits & vegetables, and water.
Good luck!

Dont eat breakfast, eat a turkey sandwich on wheat toast and low fat may for lunch, and a lean cuizine for dinner. Dont drink soda, just drink water. I've lost 20 lbs in a month doing that! It works great and remember to take vitamins so you still get the health benefits. Good luck! Its very hard to do that diet, but I KNOW it works!

1) exercise more. at least 20 min aerobic activity every single day. either running or cycling are great, even walking 20 minutes is an easy activity to incorporate - think about it - you walk away from your house for 10 minutes, then turn around.
2) eat healthier. Not less, just healthier. No more refined sugar, no more sweets, no more bread, no more pasta, no more white rice. Do that for 14 days.
