why not try something new to please the girl? girls are always trying to look hot for guys! i would go to a salon & ask for something subtle, not too shocking at first, then suprise her! she'll love you for it: (1)because you are trting to please her (2) because girls love suprises!!

Now is a good time to start learning to make your own decisions, as that is what you will need to do for the rest of your life. If YOU want the highlights, and can afford them, go ahead. If you can't afford them, and your gf really wants you to get them, ask her if she's willing to pay for it!

That might look good. That sounds like a decent color match, it will make your hair look a little darker - so make sure your ready for that since you're use to your lighter hair.

i have carmel highlights but i have dark brown hair. blonde wont really look right

no get a little bit darker then that like dark brown it would look nice cause you have light hair
