I'd be confused as to why
A) My mother has left my father, the man she's been married to for 35 years.....
and
B) Why my buddy decided to stop being interested in attractive 20-30 year olds and decided instead to pursue an older overweight married woman 30 years his senior.
I think I would be too confused to actually do anything.
