british fathers are legally allowed 2 weeks off (paid) but many fathers take a further 2 weeks unpaid aswell but in regards to your answer, fathers legally have 2 weeks paternity leave

It depends on where you live. But as far as nationally in the US, there is the FMLA..Family Medical Leave Act, and that allows you to take time off, with full pay for I believe up to 12 weeks a year, for whatever you need it for whether it be having a new baby, taking care of a sick spouse...whatever. So if you live in the US then you've at least got that....

yes even fathers can use the paternity leave act but i dont think its for 6 weeks unless theres serious medical problems check with your local labor board or workforce center the can email you info

FMLA covers Fathers as well as Mothers. It is unpaid leave for up to 12 weeks.

Depends on where yu live...in Canada...you can take part of the mothers paid leave...mother gets 1 year paid leave...so you could take a months then she gets 11 months
