have a bed and slept on the couch, how would you react.

the couch is good but i prefare to do it in a bed...

I would ask him straight out why he doesn't have a bed. I wouldn't be mean about it, but ask in a teasing way. I would understand if he was just starting out, or had just moved in. However, I would be a little worried if he had lived in the apartment for a while and he still didn't have a bed. What if I want to sleep over? I'm not sleeping with my guy on the couch all night when I have a bed at home, ya know?

If you love your man, then it shouldn't matter. Maybe he is going through some things right now, where he can't afford a bed. I was with a guy once, and the only thing he did have in his apartment was a tv, couch and a refrigerator. Did I love him any less? No. And we are still together! But he has way more now :)

I would be proud of him for having an apartment at least on his own, unless he's renting it mhhhh........But i wouldn't really care that much if he didn't have a bed.....yOu don't get everything at first, you get things one by one done.....Just take it easy and make it look funny, don't make him feel bad for it...........yOu can have a bed ine one day, but it can take a life to find that right one.......what i'm trying to say is that him for not having a bed, that is nothing, there are more important things than just a bed!

I'd probably tease him about not having a bed, but secretly wonder why he doesn't. I would be thinking a lot of things, but first of all is this a tiny apartment and a pull out couch?

Its not a big deal! Either he dosent have money for a actual bed or maybe he finds the couch to be more comfortable! Either ways its his choice and why should it bother you!

I guess it would depend on why he has no bed.. is he a mooch? just moved in? between beds? anti-beds?
wow - those are some lame excuses but anyways - If i was looking for a serious relationship, its a good start that he lives on his own - but no bed = not cool

Oh yeah! been there, I just asked why dont you have a bed? His response was that his friend was building him one. 2 years later, still no bed.....He obviously ca'nt afford one or is too cheap to buy one. In my case he was hoping to move in with me asap...uh not!

I would ask him where the bed was. More then likely that would be our last date. I don't do cheap guys.
