A little off on the facts there. Israel is a democracy. There are other faiths with Israeli citizenship including Arabs and Christians. And yes this is a war. Israel has a right to exist and defend itself. It's border was violated it's troops killed and kidnap ed. Not to mention the constant threat of missile attack on civilian population centers. And let's see who are they fighting Hezbollah which is based were? Oh yes Lebanon and has the support of who? Oh yeah the Lebanese people. Israel wants peace if Lebanon wants it all they need to do is leave Israel alone.
If groups in Canada started attacking US areas and bombing US cities and the Canadian government and people support these groups attacking. What should the US do? Shrug and say oh well it isn't actually the Canadians so we cannot do anything. WAKE UP!!!

Lebanon has been impotent to control Hezbollah within it's borders. And how has Hezbollah been getting missles of Chinese origin into Lebanon to shoot within Israel without Lebanon's knowledge??? Someone is asleep at the check in desk?
Israel also has a population of Christians within it's borders and Muslims was well. How do I know that? Because I've been there.
If Lebanon is a true democracy - does that include letting Iran ship Chinese missles there without their permission. If they weren't aware of it - what does that say about their security.
No democracy can last long with that bad of a security system in place.
BTW, I'm not Jewish.

Wait a minute, Lebanon is guilty because it harbors terrorist organizations such as Hezbollah. They allow them to seamlessly join in with the civilians with weapons in toll. In some cases have paid the citizens in Lebanon to hide their weapons in their stores, homes, and other places. There is no way Israel should have guilt for defending herself. If the people would have spoken up and fought against Hezbollah, like they are doing against Israel, this mess would not had happen.

interesting facts -- if lebanon is indeed a democracy, then hezbollah, as a duly epresented part of the government, is representing that government making the war between israel and lebanon. the fact that the prime minister admits he has no control over that "state within a state" denies that it is a true democracy
another good fact...according to american law "A bank robber who takes a teller hostage and fires at police from behind his human shield is guilty of murder if the police, in an effort to stop the robber from shooting, accidentally kill the hostage." so when hezbollah operates from civilian areas, it is responsible for the deaths there. it also violates interantional law and the geneva convention (to which the lebanese gov't is a signatory).
Did i mention the part about invading israel to kill and kidnap? how about resolution 1559? just let me know.

Who would you prefer we support?? The terrorists?
Israel is taking care of business after being attacked. Maybe if we took care of business like Israel, we wouldn't have the problems we are having now, and we wouldn't have had 911 if the muslims had been punished for the first attack on the WTC, and the attack on the USS Cole, that chicken hearted Clinton let them get by with.. Israel has to fight back strongly or they will be run over by all their enemies.

Because Lebanon was the one that started this war by firing into civilian populations with no concern whatsoever for innocent bystanders. Why would anyone in their right mind not support Israel's right to defend themselves?

certain, Israel is the Promised Land. certain, I help Israel's self-protection antagonistic to cowardly assaults that Arabs have released continuously. Now that the state of Israel is a actuality, the Arabs won't be able to easily run through and kill each of the Jews in an section and scouse borrow the land the way they used to. study the history of the land. you'll discover that is extremely diverse from what the Muslim propaganda gadget tells you.
