We found out this week that she is dying of cancer and its coming really fast. She is one many unfortunate americans that dont have health insurance and therefore, she ignored her symptoms of headaches, nausia and just not feeling right. Then on Monday, she lost her balance. That was it....off to the ER only to leave with devastating news. Please, If you have faith....pray for Courtney in Arkansas.

To all of you that answer this prayer.. My husband has taken this list with him to Arkansas to read to his mom. Thank you all. I cried after I read the first responses. Please keep them coming. I pray that your prayers will heal her. God Bless you all.

I feel your pain completely - my mother in law is also dying...she is in ICU and has been in the hospital for a month now, after getting her diagnosis of colon cancer back in April. She ignored the symptoms for 2 years because she was too excited about me marrying her son, and all the wedding plans. She has had 2 and 1/2 feet of her colon removed, and she has stage 4 liver cancer. She is sleeping more now, panicking when people leave her side, and she is heavily swollen due to fluid build up all through her body. We are amazed she has lasted this long - she is only 67.

My thoughts and prayers go out to your mother in law during this time. It is so hard...and it feels like there's nothing we can do - but we can pray and have faith. You take care!

I will pat for her aand your family. I lost my uncle to cancer 1 year ago. I found that the hardest part was realizing that they were dying, I grieved before he died because I felt that his life was already over, so when you find out she passed away, you may or may not cry. But remember, it's o.k. to cry an grieve, just try and remember the good times you had togeher. Maybe make a scrapbook with her if possible efore she passes away, to help remember her. I will happily pray for her and your family. The thing she needs most right now is her family. Be there as much as possible for her.

I will pray for her every night. My grandfather had skin cancer, and a hernia,I tried so many times to get him to go to the ER,but he's just so stubborn,I prayed every night for him.He overcame the cancer and hernia, but just a week ago he had a massive heartatack and died on the table five times, and was i ICU for 4 days.So I prayed, and like before God answered me.So i will do the same for your mother in law and I hope that when she makes it through she is able to get health insurance.Maybe my grandfather can.Good luck and may God be with you everyday.

I will pray for her. I lost my mom 3 years ago to cancer. Cancer is a terrible disease. Just be their for her and spend all the time with her that you can. Each moment is precious.Best wishes and I will pray hope everything turns out good. And remember God hears prayers and answers each one. Even though my mom didn't make it, I still believe that she got her miracle.

Courtney,
I pray that God, the most glorious king of kings, the all knowing, the all wise, has you and your family wrapped in his love.
I pray that your pain and difficulties be removed
I pray that your heart is filled with joy, and not sadness
I pray that God will heal that which aches in both body and soul.

you will stay in my prayers!

I'm truly sorry to hear about her diagnosis. My prayers are with you. I also have a mother-in-law who just went heart bypass surgery. It was touch and go but she's fine now, thanks to God.
Believe that all will turn out OK. God is watching over her, and he does things for his reasons even if we don't agree with his choices. Everything has a purpose.
Courtney, I will pray for you, God Bless you. You are truly surrounded by Love. Just keep your Faith Strong, refuse to let it sway. God Bless You!!!!!

I most will keep on praying for your mother-in-law. I recently(July 6/06) lost my best friend's husband to cancer. he had hip pain , went to emergency, couldn't find it(3xs) finaly went in for tests, came home with the news that his cancer of the eshopogus(sp??) had spread rapidly throught his boday and had one week to a year to live. he lived one week.

Lord Jesus I ask you for healing and comfort for Courtney, my sister in christ, in Arkansas and comfort for her family that love her so dearly. Father, you know my sister and you know what is best for her. I ask you to give her body rest during her days on earth and if it is in your will that you heal her and prolong her life on this earth. Father if you deem it better for Courtney that she be with you in heaven then father you comfort her family that will miss her until they are reunited in heaven with you. Amen.
