Sweetie, you are doing the right thing by going out and running, and getting exercise. The next step you need to take is changing your eating habits. Talk to your parents about it and let them know you are serious about getting in shape, and you guys can decide on a meal plan together. Ask them not to buy snacks, or other things that may be tempting to you. I am so proud of you for working on getting healthy.

Ok...Are you trying to lose weight? That's too easy. Just exercise and eat health foods. That's not hard. I don't gain or lose weight. But I exercise and walk literally everywhere and eat as healthy as possible here in the Army. I've always weighed about 160 from when I was 12. I'm 23 now.

It sounds like you are concerned as you should be. There are serious risks even at you age including diabetes and blood pressure. I would recommend a complete physical, visit with a nutritionist and e develop an exercise program. Pick activities that you like and have fun. You are too young to "diet" but rather focus on a healthy life style.

If you lost "barely only 10 pounds" you certainly didn't gain anything. Keep running and remember to eat well and you'll slowly but surely got down to a good weight.

I'm trying not to be mean here, but here are a few points:
First: If you want help, do your spelling and grammar homework.
Second: Just because you run fast doesn't mean you exercise enough. Maybe you need to exercise longer/harder/more.
Third: Maybe you just need nutrition! Use the food pyramid.
Fourth: And last but not least, good luck!!!!!

Ten pounds is a good start. I'm sure if you keep going you will get down to where you want to be. Keep trying, and good luck.
