You got a good point there. If the planet was created then why all the imperfections? Because of sin? If that's so, then why is the universe full of chaos like supernovas and black holes, lethal radiation and asteroid belts made up of former planets? Does Satan exert infleunce over EVERYTHING?
Doesn't make sense to me either.

Faulty Logic on your part. Problem number one. #1. The idea that nature has been designed and crafted together is so anthropomorphic, that it is more likely to be a projection by ourselves. Okay, if it IS nothing more than a project by OURSELVES, I can SEE this, and it is covered in "The Holographics Theory of the Universe" however, you then state #2. Is not nature equally wondrous by imagining that it has all come into being on it's own? If it came into being on its OWN, how is it a projection of US? How did WE exist to "create the anthrophomorphic universe?"
So, it doesn't make sense. How can we exist to create something if we didn't already exist in the first place, kind of a "chicken or the egg problem there." The fact that nature shows design is a problem for you, what with fractals, number theory, chaos theory, the golden mean, there are just so many numerical sequences tied up in nature that its so Hard to equate it with randomness. Very hard indeed. Same with the dna code.
But, its your own "little" world, enjoy it, mines a GREAT BIG one. Peace!

Why do we have the remnants of a tail at the base of our spines? Why do we have an appendix? A creator wouldn't have put redundant components into our design. People have a problem grasping evolution because the timescales involved make it impossible to witness it in our lifetime, but fossil records show that we evolved from apes.
Why do people want to believe we were created by a greater intelligence? Are we merely a scientific experiment in that case?
Nature and the universe is a wonderfully dynamic system, far more beautiful in design and complexity than something that could be designed and built in a few days.

yes it is. We, as atheists, have the ability to reason beyond the inherited mental defense mechanism that is responsible for most people's belief in a god of some kind. It has been discovered that the belief in a diety who protects and brings you to a happy home when you die, is actually a natural reaction in our brains, to the knowledge that we will all die someday, and any day. This belief acts as a buffer for anxiety and depression that many would feel if it was proven god did not exist. And, we as atheists, have either reasoned above and beyond our natural instincts, or have been born without this mechanism in our brains, like a mutant with a special power to see through B.S.. So, I guess we are kinda special. And, now that I know these things, I cannot in good conscience, try to force the mental security blankets away from those who obviously need it.

hi well i guess you have no faith then , ask yourself why so many nations and cultures would make up such a wide variety of gods simply to enslave there populations and gain power over people? or were they just trying to explain the unexplainable,or were they trying to gain a divine connection so they didn't feel alone in the world/universe. Without a belief in god the world and our lives become meaningless. Plus there would be no repercussions for any of our actions and we would all be free to kill maim and murder . I on the other hand do believe in the divine and suggest that the reason we are the only human beings in the known universe is because we are the most important things in it. I see god at work in lives and the world and believe this world cannot be explained by intelligence alone, intelligence without soul or heart ,emotion . would be a cold world indeed . good luck on your journey

only if you ignore the consequences. Seeking God is the only universal trait that mankind has outside of survival needs. Why do you think that may be? If you are enlightened or open minded I'm sure you have already made an extensive study of history and religion before you came to this conclusion. If not, you are not being intellect ally honest. You rerally should know a subject before delivering verdicts on it. The best advice I can give is read the Bible for yourself, not others opinions, then you may know.

Nature truly is wondrous. But the thing that is most wondrous about it is that it has all come into being by design, spoken into existence by the very words of God, fashion by His hand for His Glory.
Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (KJV)
Jer 25:4 And the LORD hath sent unto you all his servants the prophets, rising early and sending them; but ye have not hearkened, nor inclined your ear to hear. (KJV)
Luk 8:11-12
Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. (KJV)
The word of God can not be understood properly on an intellectual level only. One must also desire that those words speak God’s wisdom to us.
Heb 4:12
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (KJV)

The idea of our universe and all the incredibly complex things within it coming into being unaided by an intelligent force does seem to be quite wonderous simply because of the astronomicly low odds. Given that premise, we could conclude that we are pretty lucky to be here. However, further investigation of the facts has lead me to believe that a sort of higher being is quite likely to have laid the foundations of our known universe. The thought that an extradimensional Creator being actually even exists I find to be quite wonderous in of itself because the implications are nothing short of astounding.
