Errrrr. A Christian follows the Bible and is proud to be called Christian because the word means little Christ. This person is not a Believer. If they were they would know that Jesus taught love.

I am sorry you had to experience that.

Some would say he didn't threaten he prophesied. If someone is threatening you report it. You must have done something to upset someone or they believe you have. Jesus said to turn the other cheek. Love your enemy and so on . Put yourself in their place if you can. Apologies can work but some are not all there or have more in their head than most. If you antagonize people than it's you not them. Testing limits and provoking people doesn't mean your in control it simply means you have no self control. Christianity is a work in process and involves self diagnosis.Pushing peoples buttons and pulling their chains to prove that they are not Christians is like cornering an animal to make it bite you. That's why some may smile when you tempt fate. We're only human uno.

I don't have to read the threat to know that there are many people who claim to love and follow Jesus who don't represent His viewpoint. Jesus knew (and knows) it too. It's nothing new. The fact is that those who love God will love people too. That is how we demonstrate our love for Him. So while the threat you received tells you something about the person who sent it, it really tells you nothing about Jesus.

The link to your threat doesn't work. However, generally no, threats are not Christ-like. Generalizing all Christians in light of what one person says who CLAIMS to be Christian isn't right either.

Please understand there have been numerous people who pretended to be Christians on this site. I have called two people on this!
Just because they call themselves a Christian does not mean they are a Christian. How can you tell?
1. Do their words represent Jesus as represented in the bible
2. Does their advice follow biblical (New Testament principles)

P.S. You not the only one who gets this. I have received many hate letters with gross profanity in them for atheists

Jesus never threatened anyone so no. Sorry some Chrisitians are dumb. Most do not even know what they are talking about and make the rest of us look bad. I am sorry for that.

Jesus wouldnt approve of any sort of violence. What they said and did was unexceptable. They must obviously not follow Jesus as they say.

it says your login has expired. If you put your faith in people, you're always going to be let down. Keep your eyes on Christ not someone who claims to follow Him. Only God knows the heart.

(Edited after your addtl. details) You're still pretty sketchy on the details & context, but still: It is difficult to comprehend a provocation to which such a response would be appropriate.

I wouldn't presume to offer a stronger opinion on a limited, one-sided story.
