I have been told by many christians to "go die", and "go kill myself". Should I take the christian advice? I am not christian, so I wonder, is this what jesus taught, and would want. Is this what christianity is? I thought I was to ask for forgiveness. Should I commit suicide?

Christians would never, tell anyone to kill themselves. Perphaps, you have taken it out of context, or perphaps they are not really a Christian. I can say I am a plumber and tell you to replace your pipes in your house, that does not mean I am a plumber. First of all, you can tell a Christian by how they live. Second of all, you should live your life the way God shows you to live, not by what others say.I wonder if this drama, may possibly used to turn others against Christianity. You see, you are not accountable for what others say, think or do...but you are accountable for what you think, say or do. The devil works through people, places, and events to turn people away from Christ. It should not suprise you or anyone else that Satan (The Great Deciever) uses Christians, or so called Christians too. Seek God in your heart. Read the Bible, give your soul and life to Christ, pray & seek spiritual counsel from a good Bible based ministry. If you want to see what is good, truth and right you will...if you want to stereotype all Christians and slam them, because of some evil that has come into your path...you will. If you live according to Gods word, you will draw good people into your life. The first step is too get yourself taken care of and accept responsibility for yourself. Get some mental health counseling for your suicidal thoughts and people pleasing problems. When you live as a Christian, you live to please God 100% with your thoughts, feelings, and actions. Step up to the plate and be accountable for you.

I do not believe that the people who told you that are true Christians. I am not doubting you!! I am positive they told you they are Christian. But they are not practicing and Christ taught.
NO - you should not under any circumstances kill yourself. There is nothing you can do that requires that action. However, if you have done something for which you feel remorse, I encourage you to seek forgiveness from those harmed.

A true Christian would never tell you to go kill yourself. That would be against their on beliefs. If you commit suicide you are unable to ask for forgiveness but then again the only unforgivable sin is blasphemy...total denial of God. Don't listen to what these people tell you for they speak to you with false tongues! Many of those claiming to be Christian need to study their Bible. I would never tell anyone to kill themselves.

Jesus never one time said go kill yourself. He said repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand, or near.If you really wanted to be a Christian you would have to crucify these, Hate, Malice, Racism, Perversions, Ill-will, Jealousy, Anger, Contempt, and the list goes on. This is dieing to self. That is the reason people are at enmity with God. They follow their own desires and believe it or not, negativity is a human desire not a Godly desire. I read on here somewhere that God repented, It repented God that he had made man. He wished he wouldn't had made them because people are an unruly lot.

Suicide is a sin, and the Bible says that we are not to sin. Suicide does not negate sin. The wickedness of suicide is that it forever removes the possibility of repentance. Anybody----Christian or non-Christian---who tells you to kill yourself should be ignored. I am surprised that any Christian would get so angry at you that they would tell you to commit suicide. I have my doubts concerning Christianity. We are supposed to be tolerant of everyone and forgiving---except the devil, as he can never be forgiven. Sometimes it is difficult to keep one's temper, particularly when someone is blaspheming our faith. I can give a good tongue lashing when it is warranted, but I will never tell anyone to kill themselves. If you need our forgiveness, then you have it. If you need God's forgiveness, ask him and he will give it to you. Jesus loves you.

Somebody is going to come along and say those were not "real Christians." I've heard the same *loving* sentiments. In fact, a Christian who serves on the board in her church gave me a gun one time to convince me to expedite the process. It's strange how so much hatred can come from so many God-fearing people.
Oh, by the way, don't kill yourself. It bothers them that some of us can live happily without their religion or threats.

You certainly should not kill yourself. Christians telling you that may not be familiar with one of the ten commandments: Thou shalt not kill. Some people profess to be Christians and yet are mean and say unkind things to people. Jesus said to love one another. You have been given the gift of life... don't let anyone talk you into throwing it away.

You shouldn't end your own life. The 'christian advice' that you have been given, is ludacris! I dont think that the people who gave this advice are actually Christian. Always ask for forgiveness!
