I would always like to appear neat and tidy but I cant say I am obsessed with my appearance. I dont care what others think of my appearance other than not saying Im dirty or smelly..lol but other than that...all I care about is my hubby's opinion. Afterall, his is the only opinion that really counts and he tells me daily how beautiful I am (even though Im overweight) and how much he loves me and is thankful for me.
But I so agree with you..more and more people are into trying to look good on the outside and content to be a mess on the inside. Shame :(

I must admit I am obsessed with impressing EVERYONE. For those of you that say you dont do anything to impress anyone you would be lying!!!! I grew up in a house with a modest income and I always wore out of date clothing and my mom never seemed to care but I know she did. So I am very aware of my conscious efforts to dress to impress. What is so wrong about that? When you are intelligent you show the world, when you are beautiful you show the world, when you have it you show everyone.

yeah i guess i like to look nice and have nice things, but i wouldn't say im obsessed with it all. I'm not the kind of person who would been meen to the person who has nothing and isn't very attractive. I don't like that at all.. as for looks, i think everyone has some feature which is beautiful. Everyones made by God so thats a miracle.

Maybe some people are obsessed with that, but I happen not to be one of them. I could care less what people think about how I look or what I have. Materials things are only temporary, most of which you can live without. I do care how people think of me on the inside. I try my best to help and care for people, and not how they look or what they have.

I agree with the above poster, I have a fast red sports car but it is not for anyone else..it is strictly for me...my friends will say I am shallow but for me my self confidence comes when I feel confident in things around me...If I have a nice car I feel good...if I drive a junker I feel crappy so yeah it sounds bad but that is who I am...but I don't put down other people's rides because things around you are for you and you only...I am 26 so I am not going around trying to impress people...but I do feel good when I am wearing my good shirt..and my best pair of jeans...or my best shoes..its all for me..I feeel good that is all i care about.

I am obsessed (to a fault) with people knowing the real me. I drive a beat up Jeep and my favorite clothes are my cutoffs' and a T. I might down play myself more subconsiously so that people see that I am not obsessed with the "way people see me".

undemanding, it is taken into account necessary because we assume of that is. it is the only reason some thing is major. money has free of charge by using itself. once you're on my own on a wilderness Island, each of the money interior the international will no longer help you, yet society as an finished believes it is taken into account necessary, so that is. we've placed a cost on it and each man or woman believes it is taken into account necessary, and so it turns into major. Now in an evolutionary experience, we probably cost attractiveness because it typically represents a extra fit specimen and healthy = reproductive fulfillment. of route this only works on a societal factor and under no circumstances as a lot the guy factor. someone who has a suitable body and gleaming pores and skin may be infertile and someone with poor zits and formed like a pear may be very fertile. yet in case you seem at a inhabitants of 10,000 people, the individuals who in good structure the mildew extra proper are going to be extra fertile than those who're outdoors of that. Plus, i imagine human nature is to create inconceivable targets. in case you seem on the acceptable of lady attractiveness in the course of the years, this has surely been the craze. some hundred years in the past, we considered heavy women because the acceptable even as the final inhabitants changed into quite underweight and many people were ravenous. because the waistlines of the final inhabitants grew, the female acceptable gotten smaller. As weight problems reached epic proportions round 2000-2001, there turned right into a dramatic slimdown in Hollywood. in case you observed shows that spanned the previous due ninety's to early 00's, you will see just about each actress dropped 10 or so kilos. Jennifer Aniston, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Julie Benz, Jennifer Connolly, Soleil Moon Frye. Actresses and fashions at the same time gotten smaller. Now of route attractiveness in words of facial positive factors has stayed rather consistent, yet different issues have replaced with the situations. it is like we compulsively create inconceivable values. If we valued attractiveness as a society, does no longer we were chuffed even as being obese turned right into a lot less complicated? notwithstanding it is like it is only powerful because no longer each man or woman may have it. So even as issues develop into too trouble-free, we bypass the line till it is inconceivable again. i imagine our obsession with attractiveness has some thing to do with this. We cost it because it is inconceivable for each man or woman.
