Seriously. I'm interested in what people have been taught to believe. Obviously this one's just for those who believe in the Bible. What were you told would happen at Armageddon(God's day of war) and can you scripturally back up what you say?

Armageddon will be the final battle between the forces of God and the forces of the anti-christ. God will win, of course, and throw satan & his followers into the lake of fire, and on and on. The world as we know it will cease to be, and a new Jeruselem will be made, to be run by Christ for a 1,000 years of peace, after which, satan will dig his way out and try again, Another war between good & evil, good will win again, and sometime afterwards, Judgment will happen. Back up? Revelation, but not gonna try to post all of the pertinent scripture on here, but you're welcome to read the book for yourself, its not very long.

Armageddon is not a day of war. It is a place north of Jerusalem which is now called Megido. What I was taught about it was directly from the Revelation of St. John. What do I believe?

Before God sent the flood he looked down on mankind and repented that he had ever created them because all that was in their hearts was evil eternally. I think that once again mankind has proved it's vanity, stupidity, cruelty, ignorance, hatefulness, bigotry etc. etc.
I don't see much good in mankind at all and the higher you look for authority amongst mankind ie presidents and politicians etc. the worse shades of evil become obvious.

Can you scripturally back up what you say?

Nobody will know when it will happen. "I will come as a thief"

It's really simple what will happen. EVERYBODY dies, Everybody gets judged for everything they have done.

The Scripture in Revelation says that it will be that last great battle on Earth involving all the nations and the Antichrist's armies, destroying one another until God step in and stops it before we all wind up dead. Then God establishes the Millenial Kingdom on Earth for 1,000 years, after which Satan is loosed in one last attempt to decieve and defeat people and God. Then comes the gathering together of saint and sinner alike at the Throne of Judgment upon which we'll be divided between Heaven and Hell based upon the choices we made in life, then eternity begins.

Armageddon will ensue between the subsequent 5 or 10 years. even per chance way before that. The forces of fantastic get attracted to a religious conflict floor, alongside with the forces of evil. Then we wrestle. it is already written who wins - so there you've it.

In my church, we believe that first is The Rapture, where the Church is caught up into the heavens. 7 years of the Tribulation come next, the first 3.5 being Peaceful, the next 3.5 chaotic coming up to Armageddon. Then, Christ has His Second Coming, Then Judgement, and Christ's Millenial Kingdom.

something about the end of days. all life will cease to exist on earth. those who believe will be taken into heaven and those who turn and shun god will be cast into fire for all eternity. this middle east thing keeps stirring up, we'll all find out pretty soon.
