My son will be 6 months on august 3rd and right now, he is on 4 bottles a day...8 ounces each...cereal in morning and a jar of baby food in the afternoon(veggies right now)...after i go through the veggies and meat, about 6 and a half months i will be done checking for allergies...what type of jar food schedule should he be on?? I was thinking cereal in morning with bottle..then in afternoon a jar of fruit with a bottle and then for dinner...meat and veggies...followed by bottle at bedtime...is that a good schedule for a 6-9 month old???

I've never botttlefed, but I can say that you want to make sure that either breastmilk or formula continues to be the MAIN source of nutrition for the first year.

Three "meals" a day should be fine. You can mix it up some if you want...cereal and fruit together, small amount of all food groups for dinner, etc.

You CAN give more than one food at a time right now, as long as you don't give more than one NEW food at a time.

i sounds good to me, but i do not think he should require a bottle after eating food. Give him juice (out of sippy cup) after he eats. If he still acts hungry try more baby food. I gave my baby cereal in the morning, veggie and fruit for lunch and meat & veggie for dinner. Usually he had a bottle inbetween meals. So he was eating 3 bottles a day by 10 months. Good luck!!!!

Food wise that sounds good. Do you give hime bottles in between meals? You should. Do you let him have a very light snack? I also think you should.

We started our daughter on solids at 5 a million/2 months. till she grew to become into 6 months, we in elementary terms gave her cereal each and every morning. At 6 months all of us started her on vegetables each and every nighttime and at 6 a million/2 months all of us started end result blended with the cereal each and every morning. She is now 7 months previous and a typical day for her is: 7:00am- a million field degree a million Gerber infant nutrients fruit (a million field = a million/4 cup) and a million Tbsp infant oatmeal cereal blended at the same time, 4 oz..bottle of formulation 12:00pm- 6 oz..bottle of formulation 4:00pm- 4 oz..bottle of formulation 7:00pm- a million field degree a million Gerber infant nutrients vegetable (a million field = a million/4 cup) and a million Tbsp infant rice cereal blended at the same time, 4 oz..bottle formulation 11:00pm- 6 oz..bottle of formulation i desire this helps! in simple terms initiate slowly and take cues out of your son. he assist you to comprehend whilst he's hungry and finished. as quickly as we first started solids our daughter might in elementary terms eat a pair of million/2 to a million Tbsp at a time, yet she progressively began increasing her intake till she ought to eat an entire degree a million field. So do not subject if he won't eat very lots earlier each and every little thing. maximum of his nutrients and energy might desire to nevertheless come from formulation or breastmilk till a million 3 hundred and sixty 5 days of age. My daughter nevertheless has days the place she in elementary terms needs bottles and is not fascinated in infant nutrients and different days she needs to eat infant nutrients. the main considered necessary area of undergo in innovations is to on no account stress your infant to end all his nutrients or bottle. he would be your handbook as to whilst he has had sufficient.
