It has been debated a lot if it was Jews who got Jesus killed or if it was Romans. The Romans were ruthless people.

The bottom line is that nobody took His life. Jesus came here to fulfill the Bible Prophecy. He gave His life. He died so we do not have to be separated from God after we die. His gift is free but it was not cheep. He gave His life for the gift, and He asks us to give our lives to Him by accepting Him as our Lord and Savior. To serve Him while here, to be His helpers and errand runners, His messengers...

They think that they murdered Him for plasphemy, but they actually executed the God's will. Jesus was the very center of God's will. God want us to be saved. He wants all of us to choose to be with Him in eternity. And because of our sinful nature, we would fall short from the God's glory...so His gift is very generous.

The Jews don't know why 'they murdered' Jesus - because they really didn't.

The Pharisees persuaded the crowd to ask for Barabbas and to have Jesus executed. It was the chief priests using the crowd mentality of the Jews. The Jews got used by their leaders big time. It was the Pharisees who murdered Jesus.

Jesus called them out - told them their teachings and laws were out of date and out of touch - unjust. Jesus was gaining ground - this is why in John where Jesus says that you have to hate your mother and father to be my disciple. They weren't supposed to hate their actual mother and father - they had to hate the chief leaders and see their fallacies to become Jesus's disciple.

Chew on that folks - because it's true - it's in the Bible black and white. Does our clergy explain these things this way?

The Jews did not murder Jesus. Jesus gave himself up willingly to sinful men so that the price for our sins might be paid in full, to redeem us from the evil one. He laid down His life.

If we would read in Psalms we would know that the heathen is the inheritance of Jesus. It was predestined by the Father in Heaven. There hearts and minds was hardened by Satan, he thought he won. That was simply the wrong answer, Jesus rose again. Satan lost, but is allowed to roam about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour.

Jesus wasnt murdered. He chose to die on the cross for our sins. He couldve quit at anytime but He didnt. He loved you so much that He gave His only Son so that you may live. If you gave your first and only son wouldnt it make you angry if people chose not to believe? It breaks the heart of the Father to see His children suffer.Accept Him today.

Have a blessed day!

The Jews did not murder Jesus. Please get this neo-Nazi, anti-Semite, new-order, far-right-wing Christian nonsense out of your head. The crucifixion of Christ was prophesy fulfilled according to GOD'S plan, not according to the Romans' plan, or according to the Jews' plan. A crucifixion is not murder anyway---it is execution according to legal justice.

The bible tells us that many of the Pharisees of the day were threatened by Jesus' popularity with the people. It says they were afraid the people would begin following Jesus. After Jesus raised Lazarus, this especially upset them.

When they delivered Jesus to Pilate, seeking to have him killed, the bible says that even Pilate knew they had delivered Jesus to him "out of envy".

They were threatened by Jesus, thought Him a blasphemer, and wanted Him out of the way. But it's important not to lump all Jewish people of the day together; many were His followers.

All this being said....Jesus made the claim "no one takes my life from me, I lay it down. And if I lay it down, I can take it up again". And He did. Unbeknownst to them, the ones who sought His death actually enabled salvation to come to us.

Technically, they didn't for a few reasons...

1) The Romans actually "did" it...
2) There weren't all that many people, but one very political unit of priests that called for Jesus' execution
3) If you believe the Christians, he would have died anyway, it was his fate...so no one is really to blame but destiny...

The word "murder" has a connotation that means that someone took his life... the bible says that his life was not taken from him- he gave it freely. I guess that means that the no one, including the Jews. He gave it for us.
